Overview
Sound is likely one of the first topics considered when designing a new music venue and is typically thought of as audio design. Not only is the production of sound important for a music venue but also the acoustic environment of that space. If overlooked, a poor acoustic environment cannot be overcome by audio design and limits the quality of the music venue. Additionally, noise impact generated by the venue can be a significant issue upon surrounding properties if not addressed early in the design phase. Evaluating noise both inside and outside a music venue is an important step in designing a well-balanced space.
